The owners of the Sunliner Diner in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, benefit from their experience running the original Sunliner location in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Both establishments have 1950s decor complete with a waitstaff in era-appropriate clothing and a jukebox full of classic rock and roll. While the original location is located near the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, the new location sits at the foot of the Great Smokey Mountains, just minutes away from Dolly Parton’s country and western-themed amusement park Dollywood.
In operation since 2019, the Tennessee Sunliner features beautiful vintage cars in the parking lot and an attached retail shop with a broad spectrum of 1950s-themed merchandise. Food items at the diner include classics such as hamburgers and French fries. It also serves breakfast during all business hours.
